Are You Doing These 7 Things

If your goal is to lose body fat, change the way you look and get ‘SEXY’ with it, you should be doing these 7 things.

– Either Deadlifting or Squatting. Or even better. Do both.

You’re going to burn some serious calories if you do either of the two exercises above. What we call ‘Bang For Your Buck’ exercises.

They hit the larger muscle groups of the body, they get your heart rate racing and will create a great looking backside which will look amazing in either a pair of jeans or a bikini.

– Sprint Training or at least some kind of Intervals.

I’m not saying long runs are bad for you, but I am saying there are far more productive things. Sprinting is hard, but it’s definitely worth it.

Again, Sprints use the largest muscle groups you have, so the caloric expenditure is high. Your heart rate will sour but your body fat will drop. Significantly in fact.

Sprints are a great way of dropping body fat, FAST!

– Recovering.

Now this isn’t a reason to take 3-4 days off from training. Well, not all the time anyway.

If you’re training EVERY day and not recovering, you’re not progressing. Give your body time to recovery. Good nutrition, rehydrates yourself, nourish the body and be ready to go hard again shortly after.

– Using Food As Fuel.

You’ve heard the saying – You can’t out-train a bad diet. Well it’s true, that crap food will soon catch up on you.

Food is fuel. What you put into your system will show on the outside. I’m not going to talk about whether you should eat 3 or 6 meals a day, but what I will say is the foods you choose need to be fresh, organic where possible, wholesome and varied.

Mix it up, get a mixture of ALL nutrients.

– Sleeping Better.

Aim for between 7-9 hours of good quality sleep per night. Your bedroom should be like a Cave. It will not only help you lose more body fat but will also aid your recovery too.

Remove all electronic devices from your room if you can. This means your TV etc.

And if you sleep with your mobile phone on your beside table or even worse, under your pillow, move it!

– Focusing on the progress, not looking at how far you’ve got to go.

This is easily done. A quite commonly done. You get so fixed on the outcome goal, you forget to see that you have been smashing your process goals since day one. But for some reason they don’t count? But they should!

Focus on the progress you HAVE made, not how far you’ve still got to go. Enjoy the journey.

– Inspire Others.

It is my duty, and the duty of my team, to inspire others. But don’t just leave it to the professionals. Your transformation, your lifestyle change and your positive approach will radiate to others. Without you even knowing, you will be inspiring others to make the positive change.
